    What you need to know
    • Please complete the swim lesson pre-registration here
    • Send lifeguarding inquires to register@shendys.com
    • Please review our updated Terms of Registration
    • Each swimmer (or their Parent / Guardian) must complete the "Mandatory Pre-Lesson Covid-19 Form" prior to each lesson or lifeguarding session. Your unique URL will be supplied to you after registration is complete. For the safety of our staff and community, this policy is strictly enforced.

    What To Expect From Instructors
    • Classes are currently ‘contact-free’ at this time due to COVID-19
    • Classes are provided one-on-one or to smaller groups that live in the same household
    • Shendy's Instructors bring sanitized equipment they need with them, but you can also purchase your own
    • Once Emergency Orders are lifted, we are happy to arrange lessons for multiple families at one location

    Classes Are Available in Packages of 6 for Private & Small Group Lessons:

    Private 6 Sessions*:
    30 mins: $330 +HST
    45 mins: $495 +HST
    Group 6 Sessions*:
    30 mins: $210 +HST
    45 mins: $315 +HST
    60 mins: $420 +HST

    What we require
    from you
    • Staff must have “touch-free” access from street to pool
    • Availability of bathroom that the staff can access (if necessary)
    • Pool and premisses should be a safe environment
    • A parent/guardian must be available for assistance throughout the entire time the staff being on-property (they may not need to be “on-deck”)

    Shendy's On Guard Lifeguarding - Watching the water, when you can't

    Now, more than ever, it is important to keep your water safe.
    With kids home for the summer, and parents / guardians having to focus on their work, the potential for water related injuries is higher

    Our lifeguards are certified National Lifeguards, professional, Covid-19 trained, and insured.

    When your eyes can't be on the water, because you are hosting friends, a small get together, or party - you need a lifeguard. You need Shendy's On Guard.

    What To Expect From Lifeguards
    • Safety is their priority, but they know how to have fun.
    • They are prepared to act in an emergency, minimizing physical contact / face-to-face contact where possible.
    • Where practical, they will engage family to assist those who need physical contact.
    • Guards will continue to adjust their practices according to Lifesaving Society training and recomendatinos as emergency orders are relaxed by public health.
